Massage Sessions
Each session is customized to meet your body where it is that day: supportive, adaptable, and designed for meaningful relief.

Massage sessions are designed to be amenable, simple to book and intentional to receive.
Rather than choosing from multiple massage "types" or techniques, you select how long your session will be.
Care is collaborative and evidence-informed, adapting as needed throughout the session.
How Sessions Work
01
Booking
Select Therapeutic massage and choose your preferred session length.
If you are currently pregnant, select your duration in Prenatal Massage.
03
Collaboration
We'll take time when you arrive to talk through how you are feeling and plan your session together.
Sometimes this is just a quick "Same focus as last time"
Other times, it may take a few minutes to talk through changes, flare-ups, or priorities.
Ther is no required script and no expectation to have everything figured out - we adjust based on what's most relevant to you that moment.
05
What to expect from care
Massage sessions are paced accordingly to your plan and responsive, with an emphasis on:
-
Chronic pain and long-standing tension.
-
Stress, burnout, or overwhelm.
-
Nervous system regulation and difficulty downshifting from constant alertness.
-
Frequent headaches or migraines.
-
Consistent, supportive care rather than intensity-driven treatment.
Sessions are guided by you, clinically informed practice, and communication - not rigid protocols or force-based approaches.
07
Adaptive session framework
if your goal is to relax and decompress, we will keep the session focused on calming your nervous system.
If you are working through reoccurring sensitivity, expect more targeted work and time spent in and around those areas.
We decide that direction together before we start.

09
Integrated
Hot stones and cupping may be incorporated into a session when appropriate and always with consent. These can help reduce surface-level guarding and support overall regulation. They are not separate services, but integrated treatment tools used selectively based on your goals and health history.
02
Health Intake
New clients: You will complete our Health Intake & Consent Form prior to your first session.
If you are pregnant, you will also fill out a very short pregnancy specific health form as well.
You will have the options to fill it out online, or in person.
04
Session Time
Intake and pre-session planning / collaborating do NOT reduce your hands-on massage time.
Your session time begins when the massage begins.
The goal is clarity and comfort, not rushing.
06
Clinical / Medical & insurance reimbursement
Some patients choose to submit massage sessions for insurance reimbursement or require documentation for medical purposes.
These sessions are still booked as Therapeutic Massage. Appropriate documentation with coding, additional information is given after the session.

08
Prenatal / Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy does not change the structure of your session - it simply informs how we approach it. The work remains therapeutic and goal-directed, with positioning and adaptations appropriate for comfort and safety.
